By buss from Oslo

Take bus (lavprisekspressen.no or nettbuss.no.) from Oslo bus terminal to Mandal. The trip lasts for about 5h 50 min. Reservation can be made online until one hour before departure. The bus stops on the main road (E39) about 1 km from the city center. From there it is a nice walk to the hostel. 

By train from Oslo

The train takes you from Oslo to Kristiansand and tickets can be reserved at nsb.no. The trip takes about four and a half hour. From Kristiansand there are local buses taking you to Mandal (see bellow).

From Kristiansand by buss

Take bus 900 from "Kristiansand rutebilstasjon" to "Mandal Amfi kjøpesenter". The ride takes about 45 min and departs every half hour. Information at Agder Kollektivtrafikk (akt.no). 

From Kristiandsand by car/motorbike 

Drive towards Stavanger on E39. You will reach Mandal after 40 minutes. Leave the main road to the left towards "Mandal". Drive along the wharf. When you see a fish store on the left and a police station on the right, drive to the right to Ytre Sandgate which is where the hostel i located.

From Stavanger by buss

Take bus (lavprisekspressen.no) from Stavanger bus terminal to Mandal. The trip lasts about 3h.  Online reservation can be made until one hour before departure. The bus stops at the main road E39 about 1 km form center. From there it is a nice walk to the hostel.
